Govipala resort is a small and 07 room hotel in the little village of Inamaluwa , in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.
The village is dispersed around a 3000 acre man made body of water whose history dates back to over a 1000 years ago, to a highly agriculturally advanced civilization, and is part of an intricate irrigation network to thousands of acres of paddy cultivation that continues to function and flourish even today.
Exploring the cultural triangle and its surrounding villages is like travelling through a time machine. Apart from the tarred roads and the telephone wires, life in this part of the world has remained the same for thousands of years.
